When Team Tunafish (whoever said callsigns had to make sense?) catches a nasty monster that by all appearances appears to be unkillable, there's only one place to take it: Bangor Maine, the oddly-named top-secret training grounds for the Bureau that surrounds the most escapeproof jail man has ever created. Unfortunately, during their visit, an escape happens, anyway. It's up to them, now, to track down the perpetrators and stop him from dooming the world. Which is kind of difficult when you don't even know who it is...
Sequels can be tricky, especially when the first book was so darn good. Thankfully, Pollotta seems to have done it again, and the second book is as good as the first. The story takes a little longer to hit its stride, but hadly very much longer. Even while waiting for the main plot to get underway it's an interesting, amusing novel.
There's honestly not much else to say. If you read the review of Judgement Night, then you'll know exactly why this book is good. Lots of action, lots of weird creatures and fun spells. And most importantly lots of wit. It's still very short, but it's well worth looking into.
