Onyx's Costs

Previous suits were more or less experimental. So is Onyx, frankly, but I've learned enough over the years that I can aim fairly straight for the goal. So I didn't end up buying much that I didn't use, or had to use over. Thus I decided to actually keep track of how much I spent on the costume. This'll help me price my work if I ever again sell to others; it'll also help give people who want to follow in my footsteps, using these pages as instructions, some idea of what they're in for.

Just keep this in mind, however: I can't guarantee that what I paid is what you would pay. Prices fluctuate over time and over distance. You may end up paying a bit more, or less, than this, depending on where you are and when you buy. Also keep in mind that, technically, I paid significantly more in the creation of Onyx. I bought things I thought I would need, and didn't, and in several instances bought some very expensive things for processes that I later rejected as technically unfeasable or found a cheaper alternative to. Only what was actually used is listed here.
